SURF NEWS FOR 2009!

NSSIA CERTIFIED

Coastline Adventures Billabong Surfing School has been recognized and accredited by the National Surf Schools and Instructors Association. Our lead instructors, Jennifer and Lance participated in a comprehensive course and passed testing, interviews and evaluations to become certified NSSIA instructors. We are now a fully Certified NSSIA School with Certified NSSIA Instructors! Jennifer is one of the first women in New Jersey to become a Certified Senior Level NSSIA Instructor and Lance is one of the first in New Jersey to become a Master Level Certified NSSIA Instructor. Lance is also certified to teach the NSSIA course. Congratulations!

SURF LESSONS IN ASBURY PARK, NJ

Coastline Adventures Billabong Surfing Camp and Lightly Salted Surf Shop in Asbury Park have teamed up to offered surf camps and lessons. Check our calendar for selected dates.

MENEHUNE KID’S SURF CAMPS

By popular request we are now offering camps for kids 5 – 8 years old on selected Mondays from 12 pm – 3 pm. This fun, safety-minded and educational three hour camp includes mini-surf lesson, ocean and environmental awareness, crafts, snacks and more! Call for details and to reserve your space.

WOMEN’S & CO-ED ADULT SURF EXCURSIONS

We will be offering a trip to Southern California this October. In addition to great surfing, Tai Chi, yoga, wonderful food and other fun activities, we will also include a visit to the Billabong Corporate Headquarters and Wholesale Factory Outlet for a shopping spree.

Jennifer was invited by Billabong to assist a Women’s Surf Camp in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica this past March. The experience was amazing and we will be offering another trip in 2010. Keep on the look out for more details.

Life Rolls On, Sunday, June 28, all day at Pier Village, Long Branch, NJ

Coastline Adventures Billabong Surfing Camp is a proud sponsor of Life Rolls On. Volunteer for this amazing event and help para & quadriplegics learn to surf. No surfing experience necessary to participate. Contact: www.liferollson.org for more information.

Surfing for Autism on Tuesday, July 7 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at Brick Beach 3 in Normandy Beach, NJ.
